The streaming box that doesn’t stream you.

kubicTV turns the photos, videos, and music you already own into your own private channel — playing on your TV, from a box that sits in your living room, with nothing sent home.

Tuned in. We’ll let you know when it’s real.

No account needed just to ask. We’ll only email you once, when it ships.

One small box.
Your whole library.

Plug kubicTV into your TV and point it at the storage you already have — a NAS folder, a USB drive, an SD card. That’s the whole setup. No new accounts, no app store, no monthly bill for a subscription tier you didn’t ask for.

From there it’s just a remote and a set of channels: a slideshow of your own photos set to your own music, your movie collection, your music library, and a set of free international live channels — with an old-school local weather forecast thrown in, because some things about TV were worth keeping.

If it isn’t your file, kubicTV doesn’t know it exists. There’s no catalog to browse, no recommendation engine, no “continue watching” for a show it thinks you’d like. Just the media that’s actually yours.

Why we’re building this

Every other box in the room is taking notes.

Most modern smart TVs and streaming boxes are built to watch you back — matching what’s on screen against a fingerprint database, building a profile of your household, and selling what they learn. kubicTV has no database to report to. It isn’t logged into anything. It has no idea who you are, and it’s built to stay that way.

Most streaming boxes

  • An account before you can watch anything
  • Tracks what’s on your screen, always
  • Needs the internet just to turn on
  • Ads on the home screen, sometimes over your own content
  • Another monthly bill

kubicTV

  • No account, ever
  • Nothing leaves the box
  • Works fully offline for your own media
  • Zero ads, on principle
  • Buy it once

Where things stand.

kubicTV isn’t a concept — it’s already running. Prototype units have been playing photo slideshows for family and friends for months, and it’s become the thing people ask about when they visit.

The last few channels are being completed and soon the product will be moving off repurposed hardware onto a small dedicated box before this becomes something you can actually buy. This page exists so you can be first to know when that happens — nothing more.
